Description
Product Information:
Lotrisone is a combination of Betamethasone(steroid) and Clotrizol( antifungal). It is therefore pharmaceutically classified as a steroid and an azole antifungal drug, example; Tinea Cruris and Tinea Pedis. The cream is basically used to treat fungal skin infections. Lotrisone is not recommended for the treatment of children that are below 17 years.
Dosage:
Lotrisone should be used as prescribed by a specialist. A gram of Lotrisone cream contains 10Mg of Clotrizol and 0.5 Mg of Betamethasone. The cream should be gently massaged into the affected area a couple of times daily for two weeks. The amount used per week should not exceed 45 g.
Usage:
Lotrisone cream should only be used by children of 17 years and adults in the prescribed form for the treatment of fungal infections.
Side effects:
In addition to its positive effects, users of Lotrisone may suffer adverse side effects that may include;
Skin irritation. This may range from blistering, burning, dryness of the skin to itching of the skin after use of the cream.
Hives
Painful urination
Nausea
Stomach ache
Fever
Rash
Swelling
Cough
Weakness
Vomiting
Lower back pain
Depression

Precautions:
Latrisone cream should never be used by children under the age of 17 years. Due to the presence of steroids in the cream use by this group of persons may lead to adverse effects.
This cream should not be used by pregnant women and nursing mothers unless if prescribed by a specialist.
Use the cream as directed by a specialist. If you suffer allergic reactions or don’t improve within 1 to 2 weeks of using the cream see your doctor.
