Generic Plendil (Felodipine)

Product Information:

Plendil is a type of drug administered to patients suffering from hypertension. This medication works by relaxing your veins and arteries hence the heart can pump blood easily. The drug falls under the category of calcium channel blockers drugs. You may also use the drug for other purposes not listed here but ensure you seek medical advice.

Dosage:

Take the drug as directed by your physician. The drug is available in form of a tablet. Stick to the prescriptions provided on the label. Hence avoid taking Plendil in small or large amounts. Take the drug the same way every time. In some occasions, you can take it without food. Your doctor might change the prescription from time to time.  While using Plendil, ensure you visit your doctor regularly to check your blood pressure.

Usage:

Side Effects:

Plendil imparts the following side effects on its patients. These are: dizziness, nausea, mild rashes, feeling nervous, insomnia, stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation, swelling on the lips, face and tongue, chest pains, irregular heartbeats, sneezing, feeling short of breath and swelling on the hands and feet. The list is quite long. Seek prompt medical care if you experience such symptoms.

You are allergic to Felodipine

You suffer from heart complications such as heart failure

You are pregnant or breastfeeding

You have liver disease

You drink grapefruit juice or use grapefruit products
