Levaquin which is also known as levafloxacin is an antibiotic drug that kills bacteria located in the body. It is used to treat flouroquinolone antibiotic is used to cure bacterial infections of either the skin, prostrate, kidney or even the bladder. Bacterial contaminations that lead to pneumonia or bronchitis are treated by consuming Levaquin tablets.  Patients who are suspected to have contracted anthrax are also given the medication. 
 
Dosage:
Levaquin can be dangerous if taken carelessly. It is therefore important to follow the doctor’s prescription which in most cases is given orally in the form of tablets. There are some medications that should not be taken at the same time as this antibiotic as there is a risk of it not working successfully. Drugs that should be avoided are antacids vitamin supplements and chewable tablets. 
Usage:
The drug is taken by mostly adults although children can also be given Levaquin but in lesser quantities. 
 
Side effects:
Body reactions that occur as a result of using the antibiotic may be severe or in different times, they may be inconsequential. Some of the minor outcomes include:
Bloody and watery diarrhea
Increased heart beat
Breathing difficulties 
Swelling of the lips, face, tongue and throat
