Tavin EM

Tavin EM  is a type of anti retroviral drug used for not only the treatment but also HIV prophylactic. Compared with the original brand, the drug is cheap and this can be attributed to the fact that it is generic makes are always sold at a cheaper price than other forms. Tavin EM  is  a mixture of tenofovir and emtricitabine. The drug works its magic by stopping further spread of the disease to other parts of the body. 

 

The drug is administered orally in the original strengths of 200Mg and 300Mg. It can be prescribed to both adults and children but in different dosages.

 

This drug is orally administered in intervals of one to two times a day as per the doctor’s instructions. Users are advised against chewing or crushing tablets, rather, tablets should be swallowed whole. It may be taken with or without food but must be accompanied by water because it is soluble in it.

• Headache

• Tiredness

• Dizziness

• Rash

• Heartburn

• Constipation

• Nausea

• Diarrhea

The severe effects that come with using Tavin EM include serious depression and extreme fatigue. 

 

Due to its risks of side effects, the use of Tavin EM requires regular progress checkups by a specialist. Further, the drug should not be administered to children of tender years or pregnant women until a specialist examines the expectant mother and recommends it. 

Additionally, in situations where the patient is on other medications the doctor should be informed of it.

Every patient suffering from HIV is informed of the fact that the drug is not a cure and that its main role is only to reduce the spread of the virus to other body parts.
